TET is short form of Teachers Eligibility Test. This examination conducted by state government for all candidates who want to be a teacher in government school. TET is compulsory test to apply for any recruitment for primary teacher in any government school. For this current year notification has been declared. Educational Qualification

To apply for this test you should have clear PUC or Senior Secondary with the minimum 50% score. OR
You should possess the degree of B.A/ B.Sc. or graduation degree and Diploma in elementary education. OR
You should possess the bachelor of education (B. Ed.) or Bachelor of Elementary education (B. E. I. Ed.)

Application Fee

Candidates who belongs to General Category they need to pay Rs.500/- for one paper and for both papers applicants need to pay Rs.800/-
Candidates who belongs to SC/ ST Category they need to pay Rs.250/- for one paper and for both papers applicants need to pay Rs.400/-

Important Dates

Submission of Online Applications form starts form 20^th April, 2014.
Last Date for Submission of Online Applications form is 03^rd May, 2014.
Last Date for Receipt of Applications form is 05^th May, 2014.
Admit Card for KAR TET 2014 will be available from 16^th May, 2014 to 25^th May, 2014.
